A little piece of history
Way before the Bansky effect took hold on the market and before we had our first gallery space (The Lab 101), we co-curated this little show in London. We were turned down by loads of galleries before the wonderful Adrian Palengat let us host this exhibition in his nice Portobello Road space - APART.

Kristen Schiele Installation @the SCOPE Art Fair in NYC
Special Projects Installation
“Riding America Like a Cheap Pony”
Scope Art Fair New York City, Lincoln Center, NYC
March 4-8 2009
Kristen Schiele creates "RIDING AMERICA LIKE A CHEAP PONY," a full-scale timber frame house installation. Based on the artist's 2D works, the house is a scenic domestic land of memorabilia made from dumpster-derived objects and found timber. Mock Rifles, games, and hand-made textiles symbolize the hard currency (and real spirit of) the Great American Experiment.
Image of Installation in progress
In conjunction with Lilah Freedland's "Fast Cheap and Out of Control" print bonanza, live music film and videos. Check the scope website for schedule and don't miss Martha Colburn's new stop animation piece with live musical accompaniment by Ryan Sawyer.
