Kristen Schiele Installation @the SCOPE Art Fair in NYC

Special Projects Installation
“Riding America Like a Cheap Pony”

Scope Art Fair New York City, Lincoln Center, NYC
March 4-8 2009

Kristen Schiele creates "RIDING AMERICA LIKE A CHEAP PONY," a full-scale timber frame house installation. Based on the artist's 2D works, the house is a scenic domestic land of memorabilia made from dumpster-derived objects and found timber. Mock Rifles, games, and hand-made textiles symbolize the hard currency (and real spirit of) the Great American Experiment.
